THE SWIM

Takes place in the Sea of Cortez along the shore line.  The Sprint swim is 500 meters and the Olympic swim 1000 m. The tide in Puerto Peñasco is pretty radical... Up to a difference of 18 ft! For this reason the start times vary. We will have two rolling starts... One for the Olympic and one for the Sprint distances.

THE BIKE

Course is throughout Sandy Beach on mostly closed roads and when it's not completely closed, you get an entire lane to yourself.  The Sprint bike is 9.4 miles and the Olympic is 26 miles long. We are working with the city authorities so that they repair / re-pave some of the road segments. We will keep you informed about the road condition so that you can adapt your ride accordingly.

THE RUN

course is on our private golf course (rolling) and finishing on the sandy beach right in front of the resort!

THE PARTY

We will have party playlist music during the triathlon at the finish line along with water and ice-cold beer sponsored by TECATE.... We will offer yummy Mexican food...

Poolside live concert-quality party music starts at about 1:30PM along with the Award Ceremony... Live music continues until (at least) 6PM all around the Pool Bar where you will be able to purchase additional food, beer, and cocktails once the free stuff runs out...
